Other Thai dishes that Holy Basil is in are Pad Kee Maw aka Drunken Noodles (aka one of my fav Thai dishes of all time!) Usually, the containers you pick up at your local store dont just contain one plant, its actually several of them all crowded into that one container. I havent tried it yet, but we are going to harvest our Thai Basil and Holy Basil crop from this year, and give it a try. Basil is an annual herb, and it is not a cold-hardy plant. It does best when the soil stays consistently moist. Keep soil evenly moist. Seedlings will often be thinner and appear to have a water-soaked band at the base, and even if your seedlings do survive, theyll never become robust plants.
